I think that practicing any form of relaxed, deep breathing exercises (qigong, yoga, etc.) will increase lung capacity over time. 

It&#039;s not really that your lungs get physically larger, but rather that you develop the ability to use all of the muscles related to breathing more efficiently. This is what allows greater lung capacity or &quot;tidal volume&quot; as they say in physiology.

That being said, since part of taking in energy is directly related to our oxygen intake, the more oxygen you take in, the greater the contribution to your overall energy level it will make. Having a larger lung capacity increases your ability to take in oxygen, therefore increases your energy level.
